This is a classic and bestseller. Let me tell you, if you really want to have the attitude to accumulate riches, read this book. This book is not a quick-get-rich-scheme no, it's a mentality. Mr. Hill was asked by Andrew Carneige to write the book and interview 500 successful entrepreneurs like Henry Ford, Edison, Charles Schwab, to name a few, and bring a formula, to help people become successful in business. A great recommendation.

4) Book: Direct From Dell by Michael Dell

Everyone knows Dell Computer. But what they don't know is that Michael Dell started his business when his was in his college dorm room with just 1,000 dlls. In this book he tells about his story, and his advice on business. Another great example of the American dream.

5) Book: The HP Way by David Packard

Another great business story, Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Packard tells us how the company got started, and why the HP Way help HP be what it is today. Great and easy read.

6) Book: My Life And Work by Henry Ford

Ford Motor Company. This book is a mix of autobiography with business advice. Even though this book was wrote long time ago by Mr. Ford, you'll learn business principles that apply to this day. You'll learn about Mr. Ford's business genius with this great book.

7) Book: Losing My Virginity by Richard Branson

Who doesn't know Richard Branson? He is founder of the Virgin Group which has lots of companies. This book it's an autobiography of UK entrepreneur Richard Branson, it's easy and fun to read. And you'll learn from his experiences. Great Book.

This is a very cute game. The only draw back is its difficult to get back to the beginning. My 4 yr old likes this. Some of the characters say really funny things. It has a uniqueness to it.

The game lives up to its name, its a dollshouse. You pick the furniture and put it where you like almost as a number of things refuse to allow you to place them where you want even when there is plenty of room. You cannot place an object or person behind another item unless you put the back item in first.
The fun part is decorating the rooms and seeing the characters you place in the rooms interact. It would have been nice to have had more variety in the characters as you only get two cinderellas, anastasia drusella and the stepmother, the prince, three mice, a dog, aa cat and a couple of birds.
You can change the wallpaper, floor, ceiling, curtains etc (three choices of each) Also the furniture has three choices.
Disappointing is the promised downloadable decorations, they downloaded but wont run.
Overall the game is click and point, so the kids are not amused long and seldom return. It came in a package with three other games otherwise I probably would not have purchased it but games geared towards girls a few and far between with disney and barbie being almost the only ones.

These chilton books really annoy me because when the repair gets ugly, they always state something like, "please take your vehicle to an authorized repair shop". Also, the particular book Amazon sent me had my year/make/model wiring diagram torn out of it. WTF? By the time I discovered this, the return deadline had passed. I also bought the CD version of the original shop manual and it's 10x better anyway so no big loss.

I have a 1967 Cougar and this manual was very helpful. Everything from diagrams of the engine to wiring diagrams.

I titled my review "Wow!" because that is what I said the first time I saw the software in action. The information provided, graphics, layout, ease of use, and excellent cross-referencing all make this a must-have for any theological library. Great for pastors or for home use. I would highly recommend this product to any one who wants to learn more about the Bible.

Customer Review: Better As Just A Passing Curiosity

For fans of Chuck Jones, this is a great way to see some of his work outside of the Looney Tunes.



For fans of the book, this is just a passing curiosity.



Too many liberties were taken with the property. It only resembles the book in the most superficial of ways. The magic and charm of the book is lost in this animated version. I was very disappointed in it. Especially after wanting to see it for years. The songs in the film don't work as a way to advance the plot. They're just in there to be in there. They have no function at all.



As stated, most of the charm and magic of the book is gone. You get the basic plot. Milo gets the tollbooth. Takes his journey to rescue Rhyme and Reason. Along the way are Tock and the Humbug. In a nut shell, you go from The Land of Expectations, to the Doldrums, to Dictionopolis, to Digitopolis to the Castle in the Air. 90% of the little side excursions are gone. No Valley of Sound. No Island of Conclusions. No cities of Reality or Illusions. No Alex. No 5/8 child. Heck, even the demons in the Mountains of Ignorance are not even that interesting. Rhyme and Reason are not much more than blobs of color. Almost like the animators just couldn't be bothered to even try and make them look like people. Tock is drawn all wrong. Short Shrift if wrong. I could go on and on.



Since the book isn't all that long, I didn't see the need to cut so much of the more interesting parts out. If they had left out the songs, there would have been more than enough time to be more faithful to the book.



I'll stick to reading the book. It's 100% better. Maybe in a few years some one will get the idea to make a more faithful adaptation. I hope so because if done correctly a movie of The Phantom Tollbooth could be really spectacular. This version wasn't.



Customer Review: They need to make this movie on DVD

I was so happy to find this movie but the price was outrageous. I got it for my sisters birthday because her and this movie go way back. I guess it was worth the amount of money just because in my family it is a classic. They really need to make this movie on a DVD though because they last longer. This movie is so funny and just amazing. If you haven't seen it then I would suggest you rent it first because you may not be into this kind of movie. It is kind of trippy in some parts but the whole movie is just great. There is some singing and it is mostly a cartoon. It starts off as real life but then turns into a cartoon. This movie is a classic.
