What is the difference between quality and trash ebooks?!

First of all I would like to thanks Gary Harvey ( http://1ClickProfitSt.com ) who actually gave me the idea to write about this... So thank you Gary!

Now let's go to the actual article!

The second reason because of which I decided to write this is because I have reviewed many ebooks. I'm not sure but I think they were about 100! I have been reviewing ebooks not only for NetProfitMap but even before this. So I consider myself something like an 'ebook review expert'

I will list the most common factors that form the quality ebook. And will try to explain them. Of course you understand that if you don't follow them your ebook becomes trash. That's why I have described what differs trash from quality ebook ONLY in the 1st factor:

Factor #1
Trash ebooks does not contain useful information. That's why they are called trash - their content is absolute trash i.e. it doesn't contain any new, fresh, unique or at least useful information. You will not ever learn something useful and real from them nor you will profit from them. The only thing they do is wasting your precious time.

The quality ebooks instead of the trash ones do contain useful, fresh & new, good, profitable and unique information. From which you will really profit in some way.

How to avoid:

1. Don't ever write an ebook about something in which you are not a professional. Don't improvise - instead try to write from an expert's point of view. Actually you must be an expert in your field in order to sit back and write an ebook!

2. Try to write about something unique and fresh.

3. Do a market research and see if people are interested in content that you can provide them with (the content, which you can write from a real expertise) and also whether there are other such ebooks or no. If the answer to the first one is 'yes' and to the second one 'no' then your ebook is more than quality for the first factor.

4. Last - do you think that if I read it I will profit from it? If no then it's not a good ebook!

Factor #2
Its length is a very essential factor, too. The faster the reader learns from it the better it is. If you can teach me on making my web site in one week - OK. But if you can tell me how to make the same web site in just one day - Great!

By length I don't mean that you must cut it down. Just follow two rules:

2. Don't cut down the information your ebook must convey. I mean the information that must teach.

Factor #3
The format of the ebook is also a very important factor, which can't be overlooked. Although I rarely see ebooks that are not made like all standard EXE ebooks. There are no special criteria for PDF ebooks.

Factor #4
The design of the ebook. The first thing here is to be sure that it is easy to read. And here is how to understand that it is such:

1. Make sure that your text is not centered or 'rightened'. Make your text begin from left to right. Just like we write.

2. The text must be black and the background white.

3. The best fonts are Arial and Verdana 10 and 12. Times New Roman is hard to read in an ebook.

4. Make the words you want to stress on in BOLD. Or you can also make them read, read and bold. These are the 3 most used and on my opinion the best for the eye.

5. The best combination for links is underlined blue.

6. Be sure that the text does not go from the start to the end. Be sure that there are about 50 pixels white space between the text and the window at the left and at least 150 - 200 at the right.

The next thing that you must think about is the navigation. The basic thing here is that your main page (the one that opens first) must contain the table of contents. I hate ebooks, which are full of promotional links, dedications, etc. at the main page.

The 'advanced' thing is the navigation in the ebook. I've seen many types of ebooks (I have about 300MB full with ebooks) but I liked most, and think that it's easier to read, is when the navigation menu i.e the links, which lead to the next lesson or the main page, are at the top and at the bottom.

But be sure that they are average links. Or if they will be at the top you can make a frame there with the simple links within it. Here is what I mean by simple: Home | Lesson 1 | Lesson 2 | Lesson 3 | Lesson 4 ...

Now the graphics in your ebook. As long as it is not PDF ebook there are no special requirements. But if it IS a PDF ebook then I would recommend you not to use many and big graphics as the page loads very slow.

Factor #5
Don't make too many things in the ebook that work only when you are connected. Make a link to your web site, your ezine, etc. But don't equal the ebook to a simple web site. It's an ebook and that's why it must be possible to read it and use its whole resources offline. The ebook is an electronic, digital, BOOK. So make it such.

These are the 5 factors that if used will make your ebook a quality one and if not used - trash one.

Shere Khan does attack him but (spoiler warning)they fight him and Mowgli meets a beautiful girl from the village who lures him to the village.

Customer Review: A great Disney classic

The jungle book is about a human boy named Mowgli who is raised by a pack of wolves in the jungle, until it is decided that he can't stay in the jungle anymore. Bagheera has problems getting Mowgli back to the man village, because Mowgli dosen't want to leave the jungle. Then Mowgli meets baloo the bear. After an encounter with the mad King Louie of the apes, and pressed to return to the man village by Baloo and Bagheera, Mowgli runs away. Later on, Mowgli meets Shere Khan, the tiger. I can't tell you what happens at the end, you'll have to see for yourself. Unfortunately, halfway through the production of the jungle book, Walt Disney died. Customer Review: Controls not explained!

Let me start off with the good things:

-the graphics are phenomenal

-you can choose your character

Now, the bad things:

-unlike the other HP games, you CANNOT wander around the Hogwarts grounds, which I enjoyed.

-The mouse has NO action whatsoever, not even in the main menu!

-I get stuck on so many levels, because most controls are NOT EXPLAINED! Not even in the manual!

-your "friends" (whoever you're not playing with) are so slow in following you and are almost always occupied with sneezing or wandering around when you need help so badly!

-I tried to install this game for one full year and never got it to install until I did some tricky things



Overall, I would have rated this game five stars if the bad things were fixed.

I think that EA Games was just porting over a Play Station game (I can tell by the graphics style) and not bothering to make it anymore convenient. EA did a poor job here. I would sort of recommend this game.

Customer Review: The worst. Period.

I LOVED the first four (SS, CoS, TPoA, and QWC) games.

The first one was a little too easy (I beat it in three days after some practice), the second one being a bit too hard (I have a fear of fire snails), the Third one and Quiddich World Cup being perfect.



When I bought the first game I was expecting another GREAT game. But here is what I got: graphics that were grainy, NO exploring, and no fun trunks with goodies. it was a HARD game, and i'm still stuck on the second task. I can't believe I decided to buy PetVet later because I wanted this. Here's hoping you can explore in the fifth one.

The compartments in the bag are great. I am going to resew all the little loops on the small compartment to make a pocket for my cell phone. The bag strap is comfortable enough for carrying large loads (like lots of school projects). The only disappointment I have is that the classic sage is darker than the represented photo.

This is a beautiful bag that serves very well. It has actually replaced my former bag as my primary tote. The one cmplaint I have is that in a few places the stitching has come loose. However, since none of these are in critical places (yet) I continue to use this bag nearly every day. It's my man-purse!

Customer Review: Real Pilates course

I learned my first pilates mat on a specialized gym with a teacher, third in line with Joseph Pilates. Classes were really expensive and I started searching on internet for a video with the original excercises as the ones I learned. I did not have too much luck, until I saw this video and order it. It was the exact same routine that I was taught; so I left the gym and do them at home now. For any pilates course, you should always go to a licensed teacher first because if you don't you might damage your spine. There are certain positions which need help at the beginning and you can't do them on your own. After that, you can buy this DVD with confidence is really good. The purpose of the pilates workout is for flexibility,back problems and posture correction. They are excellent for herniated disk, I have two and after six months practicing pilates the pain was gone for good.

Customer Review: Lays it out for you. (Also, a PC alert in this review.)

I have the DVD "Classical Pilates Technique - The Complete Mat Workout Series", which I love. But some of the stuff wasn't totally clear to me, such as when you start breathing in some of the exercises, even though it was touched on--maybe it's just me. So I got this book. When the book is open to an exercise, each exercise has a set of four pictures on the left page and on the right page there are complete instructions. I think it is useful as it is another view of what you are trying to do, so in complements the video I have. If I could only have either the book or the video, I would pick the DVD, but the book is nice to have.



A warning: Pilates, in a reference to the fact that a lot of other fitness teachers at the time were sick or had physical problems, referred to that incongruity as follows: "This is the '[N-word] in the wood pile.'" He used quotes to indicate that it was an expression, which it was at the time. This is on page 113, which is the second book within the book, originally published in 1934. Pilates himself had excellent health and was sure his system would give people excellent health.

Feist is the solo project of Canada's Leslie Feist, a prolific artist who has also played in one capacity or another with Broken Social Scene, Kings of Convenience and half a dozen other bands. The Reminder, her third release, comes from the same well of quiet, appealing songwriting, and delicate vocalizations that made 2004's Let It Die such a sweet treat. This one is a bit more hushed and ballad heavy, closer to Cat Power than Peaches (with whom Feist has also worked with in the past) but maintains an indie-minded blend of confessional pop, jazzy folk, and lo-fi torch songs. The comparatively upbeat single "My Moon My Man" splits her voice off into unexpected harmonies, just dissonant enough to stick in your head. It's hard to predict where her melodies are going to end up; "Brandy Alexander" starts with a simple snap-pulse, and gradually unfolds into a cathartic chorus of sweeping vocal overlays. Throughout, the record profits from a simple, unfussy aesthetic that keeps the production minimal and the emphasis squarely on Feist's cracking, wistful vibrato. Everything sounds deliberate, but not obsessed over, like an e-mailed wedding invitation. It's a low-pressure vibe, welcoming and content to linger. And linger you will. --Matthew Cooke

Customer Review: I love the music of Feist

This is an interesting album by Feist. "1234" is the highlight of this disc. It is a fun song that makes me feel good. "Brandy Alexander" is a song about a love for a cocktail drink. I love the piano playing and her vocals on this track. "My Moon My Man" is a groovy track with a good beat. She takes the Nina Simone tune "Sea Lion" and makes it her own. She rocks on the guitar on this track. "So Sorry" is a beautiful song with a romantic tone. "Past In Present" is another pleasant upbeat track. "I Feel It All" is a track with good musical arrangements. I love all the percussion instruments on this track. "The Park" is a very soothing sounding track. There is something about her guitar playing that puts my mind at ease on this track. This is a very enjoyable disc from Feist.

Customer Review: The value-add of this book is minimal

I was disappointed by this book. I gained very little value or insights from it. The online test revealed nothing beyond what I've already learned through basic HR testing at my current job.



If you have never taken any sort of PAPI or skills inventory testing before, you might find a benefit in the online test. However, I suspect there are more valuable inventories available on the web FOR FREE. You just have to google around a bit to find them.

Ever wondered how the most successful children's book writers get their ideas? The answer may surprise you.

Most children's books are based on the same exact story - good versus evil.

Ex. Harry Potter vs Voldomort. Cinderella vs her wicked stepmother. Pinnochio's conscience vs. outside influences.

Next we add a protagonist and an antagonist.

Ex. Don't we love it when Harry Potter and Malfoy get into it? Or when Hansel and Gretel turn the tables on the witch?

Finally a best selling story needs conflict and a big problem that the main character needs to overcome.

Ex. If Harry lets Lord Voldemort come back without a fight, the fate of the magic world could be at risk.

Most inexperienced writers spend so much time thinking about the setting, the scenery and the color of their characters hair that they forget that the plot is what editors and their audience is looking for.

Hogwarts is a wonderful school. But who would care about it without Harry Potter and his friends.

The castle in Sleeping Beauty would just be another castle in the middle of nowhere without the princess and her prince.

And the three little pigs houses could have been made of snow, cotton or peanuts for all we would care without three clever little pigs and a wolf.

Kids love it when good triumphs over evil. Give them a story they can cheer over.

Also spend time really getting to know your characters. Create a history for each character, even if most of their histories will never see the inside of your book.

Your characters must seem real. Your audience must be able to relate to them and really care about what happens to them.

That in a nutshell is how you write a best selling children's book. The editing, minor scenic details and hand wringing anxiety can come after you finish the book.

And on the " dried on up " page all you see on the flap is a leaf floating onto of the water, a small paper boat and a pair of eyes somehow that are above the water. When you lift this flap you then see a smiling snail with the leaf & paper boat. And on the last page you finally get to see the happy spider peering out from the waterspout and has made it to the top! The next 2 pages shows you how to do the fingerplay, so you can sing and do the fingerplay after reading this story. My daughter has always giggled while being read this and still at 2 1/2 does not tire of this silly story! Customer Review: Stylish not practical Not pleased because I paid extra to have it delivered two days after I ordered it and that did not happen. I was never given an opportunity to rate the seller- and leave feedback. The backpack itself is not very practical-which is what I was looking for, but it is stylish and I teach in a middle school and the kids love my work bag- but that was not what I was going for. Nine Inch Nails - Closure Nine Inch Nails - Closure Customer Review: Pretty awesome in general. Before I begin, let me just say that finding this VHS set was borderline impossible. My parents bought it for me as a birthday present from someone who was selling it off amazon for, I think, $36 (not the site but someone who was selling it on the site. Even amazon doesn't carry this!). And their money didn't go to waste. I've been wanting this set for a while so the though that I was getting it in the first place thrilled me. Closure video 1 is a collection of all of their videos up to the point this was released, including some bonus live material that was Eraser, another version of Wish, and Hurt without David Bowie. The way the whole thing is put together is pretty cool. The best part is that none of the videos are censored, either. The second VHS is a short documentary of NIN's '94-'98 Self-Destruct tour. The concert footage is Pinion, Terrible Lie, Piggy, Down In It, March of the Pigs, The Only Time, Wish, Hurt, and Something I Can Never Have. In between each song there is backstage footage and some short clips of them playing at Woodstock '95 and other venues. A lot of it is pretty funny, especially the part where Trent, Robin, Charlie, Jerome, Danny, and some of their crew and friends are seeing who can knock a cord phone (not sure if that's what it is but I don't know what else it could be) off a cord it's hanging by (Trent wins). Like And All That Could Have Been and Beside You In Time, the footage is taken from various concerts (especially on this one, since it's all taken from '94 to '98). The concert is great, as Trent shows off how maniacal of a showman he was back in his youthful days: trashing instruments, throwing his bandmates everywhere and sending them to the ER, etc. The songs are also played perfectly, with virtually no errors. Now, in all fairness, it definitely has its share of flaws. The footage is grainy, sometime REALLY grainy, especially on Piggy, Hurt (with David Bowie), and on interview with Trent talking about his Woodstock performance. The rest is better, but not by a whole lot. Also, on And All That Could Have Been and Beside You In Time, the quick outfit changes are obvious, as they are on this one, but unlike the aforementioned DVDs, on Closure, sometimes the transition between scenes gets kind of awkward. For example, on Down In It, when the scene changes from Trent to Danny singing "Rain rain go away, come again some other day," it cuts into "Come again some other day" with a noticeable switch in the notes everyone is playing. This seems like a very foolish mistake if you ask me. Lastly, I wish there could have been more than 8 live songs (11 if you include Eraser, Wish and Hurt on the second video, even though the last 2 are already included on the concert part). I mean, there just could have been so much more.... Nonetheless, Closure is an great video set, and no NIN collection is complete without it. It falls just a little short of perfectly documenting the Self Destruct Tour, which is why I had to dock off 1 star, but that's still only a minor flaw. And as for the DVD version of Closure that Trent made of this. Don't bother waiting around for it. There are too many legal problems with his former manager (who, if you ask me, is just pissed that Trent beat him in court after he selfishly kept millions of dollars that rightfully belonged to Trent), so it won't happen. However, you can find most of the bonus material that was on the aforementioned unreleased DVD on Youtube, including the infamous Broken movie (a disgusting masterpiece, by the way). So, yeah, just buy this and don't wait a second more for its release on DVD, which will never happen. Customer Review: A must for Nine Inch Nails fans Though, I wish Trent would reissue this piece on DVD and there are rumors he might, this is a great look at Nine Inch Nails' early years. One of the videos shows us the Self Destruct tour, which as seen on the video was a thriving, aggressive show with all the youth and vigor it could handle. This video was put out after The Downward Spiral so the concert includes every album or single up to that point. The other video contains every music video produced by the band up to that point. The videos include Head Like a Hole, Down In It (subject of a FBI investigation for one of the scenes in the video), Sin, Pinion, Wish, Help Me I'm in Hell, Happiness in Slavery (not for the faint of heart), Gave Up, March of the Pigs (Live), Closer, and Hurt (Live). Every video is the unedited version so the full effect of every video is seen. This collection does NOT include the imfamous Broken movie. It includes songs from the album, but NOT the actual movie that accompanied it. The videos for the songs from the album are separate pieces to the Broken movie. The rosters are like 3 years old and you cant trade players to make your team somewhat updated. This game is good but if your going to play online you better step up your game, because it doesnt matter how good you are offline. Very good story, GREAT MUSIC SEQUENCES, classic Michael Jackson at his greatest!I mean, what else could you ask for? He was the hero in this movie and is my hero in real life. Even with all the alligations surrounding him, you can't deny his emaculate influence to the music industry and the world. Customer Review: The moon is walking This movie is not on region 1 DVD yet and STILL it has over a hundred reviews with a 4.5 star average. The explanation is because this is simply an awesome film and treasure chest from when Michael was at his peak. Well, Thriller was his peak but this is close. You don't necessarily have to be a Michael Jackson fan to like it, but being an 80s fan is obligatory. Especially given the amount of Claymation in this film. This movie is a collection of segments. The first involves some live Michael footage. I usually don't watch this. I don't like the song, don't know what it is, but it's this wimpy feel-good "heal-the-world" nonsense. After this the movie really kicks in. It's this montage that basically is out to show you how awesome Michael is. It's a career retrospective that, given Michael's recent actions, is kind of sad. This segment is really eerie for some reason. It's filled with strange visuals. For example, at one point the screen showing Michael footage turns into a starship and flies away. There's also some Claymation, natch. Next there's some more weirdness involving a superfluous remake of the Bad video only with the adults replaced with children. At one point the little "Michael" holds his hand over his mouth like he forgot his line and...well this is just kinda weird. Nothing can prepare you for the absolute weirdness of the next segment. Heck, who am I trying to kid, this whole thing is weird. Things really take a turn for the terrifying when we are introduced to claymation psychos stalking Michael! The really strange thing is they are claymation when they are shown up close, but in the long shots they are real people wearing huge heads! This segment is filled with cartoon hijinx . People getting squished like pancakes for example. Michael, being chased by the aforementioned claymation stalkers, transforms into a claymation rabbit in order to escape. This is just the first of many transformations Michael will transmogrify into during the course of this film. Michael takes to the streets and is pursued by the terrifying stalkers that take to the street as well. Michael transforms into many people at different points in the chase including Pee Wee Herman. This part of the film is used to showcase the "Speed Demon" song. His retreat vouchsafed, he takes off the rabbit mask. Much to his chagrin, the Rabbit mask becomes the rabbit. After a dance off, Michael obviously wins by using a super-duper-presto-chango-spinning-dance-tornado. Sadly, this takes place in a no-dancing-zone and Michael is given a ticket. This next segment is basically a music video for the song "Leave me alone." This video focuses on the many rumors(and truths) that the tabloids printed about Michael. Great 80s visuals including dogs in suits, Bubbles the chimp, and Michael dancing with the elephant man's bones. Finally we have the Smooth Criminal segment which is the centerpiece of the film. This part is a very strange tale, penned by Michael if I'm not mistaken. In this little fable, Michael and three children romp in a field when they stumble upon an eerie cave. Two of the children go in to retrieve their ball and Michael and the girl are forced to enter in order to find them. Filled with spiders and webs, the cave offers quite a perilous challenge. They stumble upon the hideout of a mob boss, played by Joe Pesche. This drug lord reveals his plan to get children hooked on drugs. I suppose this plan is yclept "Bugs and drugs" because the mobster repeats this phrase for seemingly no reason. I could make the statement that spiders are not bugs, but I'll let this go. The mob boss spots them and with what turns out to be my favorite part of the whole movie, proceeds to scream at them "DEEEEEAAAAAD! DEEEEEAAAAAD! DEEEEEAAAAAAD! I assume Michael and the kids escape because we next see Michael exiting his house where he is shot at by the mobster's army. Due to his supernatural powers, Michael is saved and, once again, takes to the streets. When he is cornered by the thug army he does what any iconic superstar does, he transforms into a car. Car-Michael escapes and the mobsters pursue him on motorcycle-back. Meanwhile, the little girl from earlier bivouacs in a decrepit on dive yclept "Club 30s." She is soon joined by the two boys from earlier. Car-Michael arrives at the seen and transforms back. Michael enters Club 30s and he must have time travel abilities as well because with a flash of light the dive is now filled with patrons in appropriate period costumes. Michael now sings Smooth Criminal." Don't prematurely assume that things are over for this segment because after the song Michael meets up with the boys that divulge the horror to Michael that the girl has been kidnapped. All that remains is a spider covered teddy bear. Michael, undoubtedly pissed, goes off in search of her only to be surrounded by the mobster's army. Do you think things are over for Michael? I hope not because you've obviously forgotten that in this film Michael has supernatural powers. As the drug lord begins to inject smack into the little girl Michael uses a scream-attack that shatters all the glass within a 50 mile radius. Awestruck, the mob-army can only stand stoically as Michael undergoes yet another transformation. He turns into a robot like being that continues to utilize the scream-attack and uses missiles and a secondary weapon. Cumulonimbus clouds form in the backdrop and Michael now unleashes his tertiary weapons system: a double cannon that protrudes from his stomach. After all his goons are history, the mob boss takes flight. He wasn't trying to escape however, instead he wishes to unleash his most powerful weapon at Michael: a huge particle beam cannon! All this time Michael has been transforming into his final and ultimate form: Starship Michael!!! He unleashes his coup de grace beam attack and the mob boss is blown to smithereens! With this amazing segment finished there's really no reason to continue watching. Nothing in this review is made up, it's all in the movie. Up until then I had never read anything that captured my attention enough to read a book in one sitting. Thus, my search began for ?The Greatest Salesman in the World,? by Og Mandino. Curious enough to begin reading, I developed an interest for reading more of Mandino?s books. After all, if Mandino?s book made such a difference in McConaughey?s life, I wondered, ?What kind of impact would it make in my life?? One book led to another, ultimately developing into an extensive personal library, firing an enthusiasm in my heart I had not previously known. It is amazing how a single clue, almost hidden in an article, captured my attention. I was not a big reader either. Now I know the reason for finding McConaughey?s story, the beginning of a new journey for me. Little did I know the affect one book would make in my life. I learned to listen more than I talked. I began recording my thoughts in journals. I began sharing my discoveries with family, friends and co-workers. Nine Inch Nails - Closure Nine Inch Nails - Closure Customer Review: Pretty awesome in general. Before I begin, let me just say that finding this VHS set was borderline impossible. My parents bought it for me as a birthday present from someone who was selling it off amazon for, I think, $36 (not the site but someone who was selling it on the site. Even amazon doesn't carry this!). And their money didn't go to waste. I've been wanting this set for a while so the though that I was getting it in the first place thrilled me. Closure video 1 is a collection of all of their videos up to the point this was released, including some bonus live material that was Eraser, another version of Wish, and Hurt without David Bowie. The way the whole thing is put together is pretty cool. The best part is that none of the videos are censored, either. The second VHS is a short documentary of NIN's '94-'98 Self-Destruct tour. The concert footage is Pinion, Terrible Lie, Piggy, Down In It, March of the Pigs, The Only Time, Wish, Hurt, and Something I Can Never Have. In between each song there is backstage footage and some short clips of them playing at Woodstock '95 and other venues. A lot of it is pretty funny, especially the part where Trent, Robin, Charlie, Jerome, Danny, and some of their crew and friends are seeing who can knock a cord phone (not sure if that's what it is but I don't know what else it could be) off a cord it's hanging by (Trent wins). Like And All That Could Have Been and Beside You In Time, the footage is taken from various concerts (especially on this one, since it's all taken from '94 to '98). The concert is great, as Trent shows off how maniacal of a showman he was back in his youthful days: trashing instruments, throwing his bandmates everywhere and sending them to the ER, etc. The songs are also played perfectly, with virtually no errors. Now, in all fairness, it definitely has its share of flaws. The footage is grainy, sometime REALLY grainy, especially on Piggy, Hurt (with David Bowie), and on interview with Trent talking about his Woodstock performance. The rest is better, but not by a whole lot. Also, on And All That Could Have Been and Beside You In Time, the quick outfit changes are obvious, as they are on this one, but unlike the aforementioned DVDs, on Closure, sometimes the transition between scenes gets kind of awkward. For example, on Down In It, when the scene changes from Trent to Danny singing "Rain rain go away, come again some other day," it cuts into "Come again some other day" with a noticeable switch in the notes everyone is playing. This seems like a very foolish mistake if you ask me. Lastly, I wish there could have been more than 8 live songs (11 if you include Eraser, Wish and Hurt on the second video, even though the last 2 are already included on the concert part). I mean, there just could have been so much more.... Nonetheless, Closure is an great video set, and no NIN collection is complete without it. It falls just a little short of perfectly documenting the Self Destruct Tour, which is why I had to dock off 1 star, but that's still only a minor flaw. And as for the DVD version of Closure that Trent made of this. Don't bother waiting around for it. There are too many legal problems with his former manager (who, if you ask me, is just pissed that Trent beat him in court after he selfishly kept millions of dollars that rightfully belonged to Trent), so it won't happen. However, you can find most of the bonus material that was on the aforementioned unreleased DVD on Youtube, including the infamous Broken movie (a disgusting masterpiece, by the way). So, yeah, just buy this and don't wait a second more for its release on DVD, which will never happen. Customer Review: A must for Nine Inch Nails fans Though, I wish Trent would reissue this piece on DVD and there are rumors he might, this is a great look at Nine Inch Nails' early years. One of the videos shows us the Self Destruct tour, which as seen on the video was a thriving, aggressive show with all the youth and vigor it could handle. This video was put out after The Downward Spiral so the concert includes every album or single up to that point. The other video contains every music video produced by the band up to that point. The videos include Head Like a Hole, Down In It (subject of a FBI investigation for one of the scenes in the video), Sin, Pinion, Wish, Help Me I'm in Hell, Happiness in Slavery (not for the faint of heart), Gave Up, March of the Pigs (Live), Closer, and Hurt (Live). Every video is the unedited version so the full effect of every video is seen. This collection does NOT include the imfamous Broken movie. It includes songs from the album, but NOT the actual movie that accompanied it. The videos for the songs from the album are separate pieces to the Broken movie. Customer Review: The moon is walking This movie is not on region 1 DVD yet and STILL it has over a hundred reviews with a 4.5 star average. The explanation is because this is simply an awesome film and treasure chest from when Michael was at his peak. Well, Thriller was his peak but this is close. You don't necessarily have to be a Michael Jackson fan to like it, but being an 80s fan is obligatory. Especially given the amount of Claymation in this film. This movie is a collection of segments. The first involves some live Michael footage. I usually don't watch this. I don't like the song, don't know what it is, but it's this wimpy feel-good "heal-the-world" nonsense. After this the movie really kicks in. It's this montage that basically is out to show you how awesome Michael is. It's a career retrospective that, given Michael's recent actions, is kind of sad. This segment is really eerie for some reason. It's filled with strange visuals. For example, at one point the screen showing Michael footage turns into a starship and flies away. There's also some Claymation, natch. Next there's some more weirdness involving a superfluous remake of the Bad video only with the adults replaced with children. At one point the little "Michael" holds his hand over his mouth like he forgot his line and...well this is just kinda weird. Nothing can prepare you for the absolute weirdness of the next segment. Heck, who am I trying to kid, this whole thing is weird. Things really take a turn for the terrifying when we are introduced to claymation psychos stalking Michael! The really strange thing is they are claymation when they are shown up close, but in the long shots they are real people wearing huge heads! This segment is filled with cartoon hijinx . People getting squished like pancakes for example. Michael, being chased by the aforementioned claymation stalkers, transforms into a claymation rabbit in order to escape. This is just the first of many transformations Michael will transmogrify into during the course of this film. Michael takes to the streets and is pursued by the terrifying stalkers that take to the street as well. Michael transforms into many people at different points in the chase including Pee Wee Herman. This part of the film is used to showcase the "Speed Demon" song. His retreat vouchsafed, he takes off the rabbit mask. Much to his chagrin, the Rabbit mask becomes the rabbit. After a dance off, Michael obviously wins by using a super-duper-presto-chango-spinning-dance-tornado. Sadly, this takes place in a no-dancing-zone and Michael is given a ticket. This next segment is basically a music video for the song "Leave me alone." This video focuses on the many rumors(and truths) that the tabloids printed about Michael. Great 80s visuals including dogs in suits, Bubbles the chimp, and Michael dancing with the elephant man's bones. Finally we have the Smooth Criminal segment which is the centerpiece of the film. This part is a very strange tale, penned by Michael if I'm not mistaken. In this little fable, Michael and three children romp in a field when they stumble upon an eerie cave. Two of the children go in to retrieve their ball and Michael and the girl are forced to enter in order to find them. Filled with spiders and webs, the cave offers quite a perilous challenge. They stumble upon the hideout of a mob boss, played by Joe Pesche. This drug lord reveals his plan to get children hooked on drugs. I suppose this plan is yclept "Bugs and drugs" because the mobster repeats this phrase for seemingly no reason. I could make the statement that spiders are not bugs, but I'll let this go. The mob boss spots them and with what turns out to be my favorite part of the whole movie, proceeds to scream at them "DEEEEEAAAAAD! DEEEEEAAAAAD! DEEEEEAAAAAAD! I assume Michael and the kids escape because we next see Michael exiting his house where he is shot at by the mobster's army. Due to his supernatural powers, Michael is saved and, once again, takes to the streets. When he is cornered by the thug army he does what any iconic superstar does, he transforms into a car. Car-Michael escapes and the mobsters pursue him on motorcycle-back. Meanwhile, the little girl from earlier bivouacs in a decrepit on dive yclept "Club 30s." She is soon joined by the two boys from earlier. Car-Michael arrives at the seen and transforms back. Michael enters Club 30s and he must have time travel abilities as well because with a flash of light the dive is now filled with patrons in appropriate period costumes. Michael now sings Smooth Criminal." Don't prematurely assume that things are over for this segment because after the song Michael meets up with the boys that divulge the horror to Michael that the girl has been kidnapped. All that remains is a spider covered teddy bear. Michael, undoubtedly pissed, goes off in search of her only to be surrounded by the mobster's army. Do you think things are over for Michael? I hope not because you've obviously forgotten that in this film Michael has supernatural powers. As the drug lord begins to inject smack into the little girl Michael uses a scream-attack that shatters all the glass within a 50 mile radius. Awestruck, the mob-army can only stand stoically as Michael undergoes yet another transformation. He turns into a robot like being that continues to utilize the scream-attack and uses missiles and a secondary weapon. Cumulonimbus clouds form in the backdrop and Michael now unleashes his tertiary weapons system: a double cannon that protrudes from his stomach. After all his goons are history, the mob boss takes flight. He wasn't trying to escape however, instead he wishes to unleash his most powerful weapon at Michael: a huge particle beam cannon! All this time Michael has been transforming into his final and ultimate form: Starship Michael!!! He unleashes his coup de grace beam attack and the mob boss is blown to smithereens! With this amazing segment finished there's really no reason to continue watching. Nothing in this review is made up, it's all in the movie. Classes were really expensive and I started searching on internet for a video with the original excercises as the ones I learned. I did not have too much luck, until I saw this video and order it. It was the exact same routine that I was taught; so I left the gym and do them at home now. For any pilates course, you should always go to a licensed teacher first because if you don't you might damage your spine. There are certain positions which need help at the beginning and you can't do them on your own. After that, you can buy this DVD with confidence is really good. Classes were really expensive and I started searching on internet for a video with the original excercises as the ones I learned. I did not have too much luck, until I saw this video and order it. It was the exact same routine that I was taught; so I left the gym and do them at home now. For any pilates course, you should always go to a licensed teacher first because if you don't you might damage your spine. There are certain positions which need help at the beginning and you can't do them on your own. After that, you can buy this DVD with confidence is really good. The purpose of the pilates workout is for flexibility,back problems and posture correction. I have the DVD "Classical Pilates Technique - The Complete Mat Workout Series", which I love. But some of the stuff wasn't totally clear to me, such as when you start breathing in some of the exercises, even though it was touched on--maybe it's just me. So I got this book. When the book is open to an exercise, each exercise has a set of four pictures on the left page and on the right page there are complete instructions. I think it is useful as it is another view of what you are trying to do, so in complements the video I have. If I could only have either the book or the video, I would pick the DVD, but the book is nice to have. A warning: Pilates, in a reference to the fact that a lot of other fitness teachers at the time were sick or had physical problems, referred to that incongruity as follows: "This is the '[N-word] in the wood pile.'" He used quotes to indicate that it was an expression, which it was at the time. This is on page 113, which is the second book within the book, originally published in 1934. Pilates himself had excellent health and was sure his system would give people excellent health. My son loves it! He is obsessed with Cars so this was a no-brainer to buy. The games inside it have helped him not only with his numbers, but also sequencing and drawing within lines. He plays this for hours! The only complaint I have with LeapPad books is that they are really easy to crease/fold. When he turns the pages, he tends to fold or wrinkle them. My wife and I bought her a LeapPad and two software modules for it for Christmas last year thinking it would help her get a bit of a head start before starting school. While my daughter doesn't play with this on her own, she likes using this software with me or my wife. It seems like she is introducing us to characters she liked in Cars and all the things they can do in this software. By allowing her to "show us around", she has learned quite a bit from this software. She seems to have fun with it as a kid, and the fact that she is learning is very satisfying for me as a parent.
